Aurora Kay TN's story
Aurora Kay was born just a few days after her mom arrived in rescue.  She's now 7-weeks old and will be ready for adoption in a few weeks.  We believe the dad was the Boston/Heeler mix that was turned in with her mom, so she should stay Boston Terrier size when full grown.
Aurora is a very healthy, active puppy that has been raised with other dogs & children.  She will be current on age appropriate vaccines, altered & microchipped at time of adoption.  Being the typical puppy, she loves to play, eat and nap & play again.  She'll make a great addition to a family with children & another dog to play with.  Since she's still such a young puppy her family needs to have the time & commitment to training.  A basic puppy class is highly recommended.

The adoption fee for Aurora will be $225.00.  Puppies require a home with a real fence.  Please be prepared to meet & adopt Aurora in Knoxville as we don't ship our kids.  Homes with current pet history preferred.  The adoption process always begins with an application found at:   For any other info, please email: btretn.rescuer@gmail.com
NOTE:  Submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston, since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
Please use the foster momma or dad's contact information above for questions.
The process always begins with an application which can be found at The Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee website
Note that in most cases, we do not adopt to families with small children, e.g., 'under 6,' as a precaution to the child's safety and the dog's safety. In some cases with larger Boston mixes or other dogs, we do make exceptions. Please ask the foster momma.
We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to personally drive/fly to get the dog.  The East Coast division (NC/SC/VA/MD/DC) does have special transport capabilties for their kids.   Ask them.
Also, submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
