Rocky Ren TN's story
This very handsome, little brindle guy with a cute tail is Rocky Ren.  He's a typical sweet, young Boston that loves stuffed & chewy toys and balls.  He also enjoys chasing his foster sisters all over the house.  Sadly, Rocky ended up in doggy jail multiple times for roaming the streets and was not reclaimed by the owner the last time (probably because he wasn't neutered).
Rocky is 1-3 years old, 19 pounds and now up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, neutered, microchipped, but did test positime for heartworms.  He'll be treated using the slow-kill method which is much safer for him.  This consists of applying the heart worm meds every 30-days consistently (we will supply the treatment to approved adopter).  This sweet boy is crate trained and house trained if taken outdoors on a regular schedule.  He loves to cuddly with his person and will make a great companion for some lucky person.  He should be fine with respectful children and has only shown a little curiosity concerning the resident house cats.
The adoption fee for Rocky will be $350.00   The adoption process always begins with an application found at:

We prefer homes with previous Boston Terrier experience and current pet history is a plus.  No homes with large dogs or children under 6-years old please.  Please be prepared to meet & adopt Rocky in the Knoxville area, as we do not ship our kids.  If you have any questions, please contact:  btretn.rescuer@gmail.com
NOTE:  Submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston, since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
Please use the foster momma or dad's contact information above for questions.
The process always begins with an application which can be found at The Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee website
Note that in most cases, we do not adopt to families with small children, e.g., 'under 6,' as a precaution to the child's safety and the dog's safety. In some cases with larger Boston mixes or other dogs, we do make exceptions. Please ask the foster momma.
We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to personally drive/fly to get the dog.  The East Coast division (NC/SC/VA/MD/DC) does have special transport capabilties for their kids.   Ask them.
Also, submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
