Tator Tot VA's story
Tater Tot is a 4 year old, boston terrier. He weighs about 16 lbs, up-to-date on his vaccinations, microchipped but heartworm positive. Tater came to the rescue because his previous owners bought him on Americanlisted and when they found out he's heartworm positive said they couldn't afford his treatment. The good news is that Tater is currently being treated for his heartworms and can be adopted!

This little man has the most adorable underbite and is one of the sweetest cuddle bugs you'll ever meet! Not only does he love to snuggle under the covers, but he loves to PLAY! Tater would do well in a home with other dogs that like to play a little rough as he play bites. Tater loves all toys, from squeaky balls to stuffed animals - he's not picky! This little Tot likes to be with his person but will also be just as happy next to a sunny window.

Tater Tot has bounced around a lot in his short life and would do well with consistency and a firm leader. He's a quick learner and would thrive with obedience training and even agility. This cutie does play bite with his foster parents (which he's learning not to do) but would advise a home without small children.

Tater has medium to high-energy and likes to go on walks. He's definitely the best of both worlds, he's got the energy for play time but loves to cuddle! And little Tot just wants a family to call his own.
