Willie Knox NC's story
Smile pretty for the camera? Do I look like a supermodel to you? Can't you see I was curled up on the couch napping!?

My name is Willie Knox, and I think these rescue people must be nuts or something. When my family of 11 years fell ill, they sent me to live with this nut of a foster Mom, who keeps getting me to smile for the camera, don't you see I was napping? What do you think, I'm some young lug that is desperate for your attention... ok, maybe you're right, I really do want all of your attention and belly rubs.

Willie is a fun loving guy that just loves to be with his people (and other dogs (large and small!)). Willie is a 23-lb. older gentleman who would love to be the face you get to come home to every night, and the guy who would love to keep your lap warm on those colder nights! Willie loves car rides, bath time, and of course his food! It doesn't take Willie long at all to warm up to new people, even the mailman!

Willie is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heart worm negative. He has no health issues to our knowledge.

Willie would do best in a home where he can be let out frequently to potty as he is an older gentleman. Are you the giver of belly rubs for Willie?

To find out more about Willie, email his foster mom at brittany.hutchins18@yahoo.com. Willie is being fostered in North Carolina and his adoption fee is $225.
Please use the foster momma or dad's contact information above for questions.
The process always begins with an application which can be found at The Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee website
Note that in most cases, we do not adopt to families with small children, e.g., 'under 6,' as a precaution to the child's safety and the dog's safety. In some cases with larger Boston mixes or other dogs, we do make exceptions. Please ask the foster momma.
We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to personally drive/fly to get the dog.  The East Coast division (NC/SC/VA/MD/DC) does have special transport capabilties for their kids.   Ask them.
Also, submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
